I received one of the other kouser dog coats last week very similar to this one. It was only slightly taller, but of much better quality. To be honest, it doesn't even have a Kouser label. This red and blue does the job perfectly. But the plaid side fabric looks very cheap and doesn't last long. Yes, that is exactly what is shown in the picture as far as the pattern is concerned - velcro at the neck and under the belly. But even with two layers of fabric, it's thin and not as warm as we'd like. I don't think it was worth the money and I'd love to get one of the other Coser style. However as I have Revain Prime it was delivered within 2 days which is always great.
