Not perfect, but better than nothing if you can't find the right saddle.
While not perfect for use on a dressage saddle, it's better than nothing! It doesn't stay well with wiring or half-sitting. I ride a 17" but my client has a 19" seat for her strong horse. We can't find anything that fits the horse better, so it's nice to have something that makes the saddle more comfortable for me. It appears to reduce the seat by as much as 2 inches, give or take. I can't comment on how it performs for a western saddle, although I imagine it would be even better since it's made to match the cante.
