Works as expected, very versatile

The ComXim 360 photo turntable is very easy to program and automate. The shutter cable that came with it didn't fit my NIKON 7100 and I had to buy a $3 adapter from Radio Shack to convert my cable for my remote switch to fit. I don't have a Cannon camera so I can't say if the included accordion will work with their products. I think the chords provided would be too short anyway. To really give you the ability to install a light box, it needs to be at least 3-6 feet long, depending on the light box. Just expect to find or craft one yourself. You will be happier in the long run. The jack hole is the same size as my old Sony Walkman headphones if that helps. d Inform ComXim about the product, attach the silver product label to the bottom of the device. Right now I'm using a white platform at the top to hide the chords and label from invading my recordings. I want to avoid editing posts as much as possible. Although if you think about it, white is more like cream. If you want the background to match your background, or if you're doing chromatic separation, still use a green matte on top. Bottom line, this is all very insignificant and easy to circumvent. It's a pleasure to focus, frame your subject, press play and watch him take the picture. I use Adobe Light Room to crop the pack and wrote an Apple script to run them all through Photoshop to scale them to web-friendly sizes. Where it took me an hour to do it badly by hand and mail, it now takes 5 to 10 minutes from start to finish. It's worth every penny. A few tips for everyone: before taking the picture, switch the table to burst mode and watch it rotate through the camera. Compensate for the lateral movement of your subject as much as possible. Keep it centered and cropping will be easy. Compensate for the lateral movement of your subject as much as possible. Keep it centered and cropping will be easy.
