Perfect for my space in every way. This is the third sub I own. HSU, Infinity Primus is now SVS. The Infinity was a 12", the rest were 10", and the bass quality of the 10's is shockingly better than the 12's. The secret of a great subwoofer has more to do with the purity of the bass and the transition from the most powerful explosions to the deepest reggae. We're so used to booming bass that we think it's normal. It's not like this. The subwoofer is equally suitable for music and films. Bass is fast. The machine gun fire is so clear you can hear it with every round, the fast bass in the music is just as deep, clear and separated. You can't hear it before you buy because it's an internet company. I have heard as many subwoofers in stores as I could find and I can tell you NOTHING I have seen in a store is as good as this one. I had a 10" HSU subwoofer and knew the SVS was just as good if not better. They no longer sold 10 inch subwoofers so I immediately went to SVS and bought one. Worth every penny.
