The purchase brought only positive emotions.

The latch on usb 3 is quite standard and can be pushed in manually, while on type-c the only way to push the port in is with the lever.
Despite the presence of type-c in smartphones of recent years, it is often usb 2.0 soldered in a type-c case. Hence the maximum throughput is 60MB/s. And in practice even less. With those androids that I tried, the speed was 24-28MB / s

Pros

The presence of both usb 3.2 gen1 (previously 3.0) and its full type-c version Linear read speed is at least 154MB/s on both slots Decent design. Pretty strong latch when extending the ports. The backlash of the connectors is within the normal range for flash drives. Reasonable price increase depending on volume.

Cons

The write speed leaves much to be desired. The first 100 megabytes are written at ~43MB/s, after which the speed drops three times to ~13MB/s. I have a 16 GB version, but there may be a larger buffer size on larger models. The lever for extending the connectors is kind of flimsy. However, the design is quite simple, it will be possible to glue it if anything.
