didn't drip in my eyes or obstruct my view of the road. Balaclavas sold at bike shops work well but cost between $10 and $20 each. This headband works just as well for me for a fraction of the price. I bought a bundle as they are so small I always lose them after washing; I at least rinse them out after each use to keep the bacteria from festering. The fabric is thin enough to fit under my helmet without adjustment. It's supposed to evaporate my sweat quickly because sweat will never drip onto my face again. The 4 inch height covers my forehead so I don't get weird tan lines from the holes in my helmet. The open top provides extra ventilation in hot weather. i have a big head I wear a size 7.5 hat (size L or XL). This headband has a lot of stretch which is comfortable for me. Some other brands I've tried are too tight or too thick to fit comfortably under my helmet.
