Review on Mobo Cruiser Luxury Wheeled 12 Inch by John Castle

I give this 'tentative' 5 stars as I bought it as a Christmas present for my 2 year old nephew and he hasn't seen/played with it yet. I will update this review after Christmas and let you know how it went. Price: IMHO the entire recumbent market is overpriced. But in this context, the asking price (although maybe still a bit high) is about what I would expect from this type of product. Quality: The trike appears to be made from high quality parts (ie the standard for me). The main frame, seat frame and steering are made of durable metal tubing, and the welds look decent. Drag link, fender, fender liner and tie rods are also made of metal. The pedals and tire rims have a plastic feel. Once assembled, the glider feels very solid as all parts are properly assembled, tight and secure. Handbrake with caliper is adjustable. The front tire is inflatable (rear tires are fixed). sluggish feet). The valve for the inflatable front tire is angled outwards and is easy to reach with a standard bicycle pump. Detachable bike flag/carrier included. Assembly: The following parts are pre-assembled: 1) tie rod/steering arm/full brake system/front frame/fixtures/front wheel/cranks and 2) seat frame/cushion. So all I had to do was attach these two pre-assembled parts to the rear axle and attach the rear tire, reflector, bike flag, sticker and pump air into the front tire. It slowly took me about an hour. To disassemble the box, read the instructions and assemble the glider (and then another hour or so to put special stickers on). Tool. Do yourself a favor and use your own hang glider assembly tools. The manufacturer is kind enough to include the tools, but I found them mostly frustrating (except for the Allen keys). Sticker. The manufacturer also offers a variety of stickers that allow you to customize the look of the hang glider. The benefit of decals is that they are more forgiving if you misapply them and need to adjust their position. However, if you've applied decals for a while (or never before), I would suggest that you practice applying (and then removing before drying) one or two large decals that you don't plan to use the way they do might get in the way a bit. difficult. However, the decals I received spent about an hour in warm water before I could properly peel them off the backing.
