I am very happy with this purchase and managed to achieve the look I wanted because I didn't want the table lamps to take up too much space on the bedside tables. It's much cheaper to buy lamp cord here at Revain and buy 2 small metal recycle bins ($10 each at Wal-Mart) for the total cost of 1 lamp cord with shade; This allowed me to make 2 lamps for the price of one. The advantages are that it has a switch that is also a dimmer ❤️️ and the cable is really thick and well made ❤️️❤️️. The screw that attaches the lampshade to the lamp base is thinner but made of very thick plastic. The only downside is that the on/off/dimmer switch is closer to the end of the cord where you plug the cord into an outlet. My remedy for this was to use an extension cord tucked behind my bed and plug both lamp cords into it and then pull the on/off/dimmer switch through each end of the wrought iron trim on my headboard and both switches are now to the right. Within reach. The hardest part was cutting out the circle in the metal baskets after I traced the end of the lamp on this light set and sanded it smooth. So far I'm NOT disappointed with this purchase and other family members want to try it too after seeing what I've done.
