The initial setup for my PC with HDMI cable did not work, no signal was displayed. I've tried different HDMI cables with no success. I've tried all the fixes I could find on the web, to no avail, flipped the cable, unplugged and plugged back in the power cord to no avail, held down the power button to clear the cache, nothing trying to install drivers. I connected HMDI to my friend's Macbook via dongle and it worked fine. I found an HDMI to DVI dongle for my PC and for some reason it worked. No amount of troubleshooting could get HDMI to HDMI working. It worked fine for a few weeks until I tripped over the HDMI cable while moving the keyboard cable and the monitor turned off. I couldn't get it to pick up a signal. Tried all the troubleshooting again to no avail, gave up and dug up my old monitor. Isn't it asking too much for a monitor to do its one job and work with the hardware that comes with it in a plug and play manner like any other monitor I've had? Tip: Ask yourself if you're willing to buy this and risk this troubleshooting, working, random disconnect, and return/warranty experience.
