Review on TS10048B Magnum Receiver Hitch Mount by Mark Gardner

This is a good clutch, I really like it but there are a few things about this clutch that I don't like and I would probably choose a different clutch if I had it know beforehand why I am writing this so that others can read it. The coupling is supplied with 3 pins each with cotter pins. The hitch ball assembly itself cannot be stolen if you pull out the pin for it. However, if you turn this knot so the flat side is facing up, you can pop out the other two pins and remove the entire assembly. So if you go through these reviews you'll see another guy saying he puts a wire through these pins when he's not using it and of course you can take it off and throw it in a truck but god who really wants that to do it? Therefore, to prevent this, I recommend not only buying a stop pin to attach to the receiver, but also 2 more stop pins for the ball assembly so that it cannot be rotated or moved up or down. This leaves you with a pin that still contains a cotter pin. I then threw two non-locking pins in the truck in case someone for some crazy reason decides to take that pin. Finally you look at this coupling and buy 3 locking pins for it. They also make a security plate that attaches to the receiver so you can't remove that assembly, but you also have to buy it separately, regardless of knowing this I'd probably buy something else.
