Love these clips! I bought mine about 10 months ago and use it all the time. I no longer use pins for my sewing projects unless I have to because of the protected space. Clamps make the piercing process easier and faster, and less painful if you tend to pierce yourself with sharp needles. As a sewing teacher, I share my favorites (and not-so) with the opportunity to try different things. It's unmistakable that beginners and experienced seamstresses alike are hooked on these clips! Clips are especially helpful when teaching children to sew, as they can focus more on the actual sewing skills they are learning instead of worrying about pins snagging them. . (There's still time to deal with those pesky needles later.) The storage case is a welcome addition, cute, practical and durable. Mine has not only withstood regular use around the home, but has thrown it into my sewing bags for traveling back and forth to work and class many dozens of times. I order another jar to leave in the classroom at work so I'm never left without it while sewing. I recommend ear clips to anyone who sews. I now think they're as simple as pins and a seam ripper and this jar with clips is a great value.
