Got a used device that didn't work. I bought a new camera

When I revived this camera I noticed that all transparent projections were cut off. When I opened the box I could tell someone had this in front of me. I bought a new camera but that's not what I got. Then when I put the batteries in the case I found it didn't work so now I have to wait for a replacement. So far not a very good experience for me.
