This goes straight to my 87 K5. Fits in the holder when you take it all apart. The vent cap behind the light can be removed if you want a slightly tighter fit, but it's not necessary. 2 Compress it fully to secure. Easy wiring. I connected high, low and ground for low beam and just high and ground for high beam. Thus, the low beam works normally, and the high beam turns on together with the high beam. Be prepared to rip your car's braids apart to reattach the wiring if necessary. The lights are interchangeable and it's the wiring that activates the low versus the high. The photo on the left shows LEDs and on the right halogens. That says it all.
