This thing is just a brick but if weight isn't an issue then it's really good value for money. It settles quickly and smoothly and stays true with enough movement if it's even. If you need the accuracy of an inclinometer, you can look at another product - the pendulum sticks to the shaft and takes a touch or two to move. I've never had the need for an inclinometer, so that's not a problem for me. The bezel was very difficult to move at first, but after a bit of work it loosened up quite a bit. There is a focus button (?) on the eyepiece that doesn't seem to do anything, but I have no problem reading the bearing. Everything else is there and works as it should. The guide is very interesting.
