Review on Schlage Seville J10SEV716 Lever for Hall and Closet, Aged Bronze by Chris Elam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm sticking with Schlage

Installing a new door handle is no difficult task and if you've done it before the handle's design should allow you to do it in 10 minutes Or less. That's why I'm sticking with Schlage. I am replacing all the old 1980's doors in our house along with the old brass doorknobs. I had a similar satin nickel lever but from a different brand that I was trying to fit in a door I had just hung. I spent an hour trying to figure out why it sticks every time I tighten my last screw. Eventually I found out that it was the design of the handle and it wouldn't work with a door just a little thinner than 1/8 inch. I ordered this snake and installed it in less than 10 minutes. I chose them because: - Perfect finish - They are durable - They are easy to assemble - I don't have to worry about ordering "left" or "right".
