    I have looking for a replacement for my broken sliding glass door handle that was 25 year old and I could believe I found one that was perfect!

    Seems to be a good replacement

    We bought a Pella sliding glass door from Lowes and after five years of very light use (opened maybe once a week) the spring broke inside the lock. So I got this as a replacement. I was very lucky to read some other reviews here on Revain (thank you!) which reminded me to remove the lower screw and insert an ice pick or the lock assembly falls down inside the door. The hardest part was getting that lock assembly out, but it only took about 5 or 10 minutes of jiggling and once it was out the new

    Not made to last in my review

    Easy to install, but probably will not last very long without breaking screws.No alignment dowels on outside handle to keep the screws from wearing the hole in the vinyl door and putting all of the strain on the screws.

    Nice replacement. Good black color. High quality. came with 3 screw lengths but had to cut the long ones so it would fit perfect. Not an issue as it all depends on door specs and our door was 10 years old. overall.I recommend.

    This fit perfectly on our 1996 sliding glass door. Easy install and way better quality than what we had before. Highly recommend! Just measure carefully and watch a YouTube for install directions.

    Great replacement for old worn out handle

    First picture is old worn out handle from slider ,next two are replacement handle installed easy to replace took about 5 minutes hardest part was picking up dropped screws basic Phillips screwdriver is the only thing you really needSo easy a caveman can do it. Lol

    Worked fine, but product came loose on ripped box, few screws were scraped in paint (should be white). Handle was in good shape. Would rate 5 but Lock mechanism did not come with small screws, and kit had no instructions. When installing lock, it fell down inside the door - had to remove door and tilt upside down to retrieve lock - would be nice to have instructions to avoid this - so when installing lock, ensure you put screwdriver or stick inside bottom of door handle, to prevent lock from…

    Sliding glass door Handle and lock set.

    A perfect fit on an old sliding glass door from the 80s and it worked perfect, easy to install just make sure you have a good grip on the mortise lock when putting the screws back in be cause it wants to fall inside the door but all around great replacement lock and handle set.

    Our sliding patio door was installed in ‘2000. And Inside the lock mechanism something eventually got worn out or just failed . Plus our existing handle , we thought was also an out dated look . So this handle definitely gave our patio door a nice new clean Updated look . And the lock mechanism screwed right in place with just a simple adjustment . So for just a minimal expense ,compared to replacing the entire door .what a great option . We couldn’t be happier .

    Needs better instructions

    The gear itself is great, but I wish that there were instructions on how to replace and install. I had never done it before and the original lock fell down into my door and I didn't know know the proper way to put the new one in. Had to search all over the internet to learn.

    Easier than I thought

    Feels very sturdy and was surprisingly easy to install. They give you multiple screw lengths so it will fit your door. Lock is very smooth. Only question is durability but as long as it holds up, it's a 5 star.

    Inside of product works great

    I only need the inside parts and couldn’t find it separately. Hence I only used part of the product sent to me and the reason for the 4 stars. The "guts” of the product - met my needs and door works great again.
