Seems to be a good replacement

We bought a Pella sliding glass door from Lowes and after five years of very light use (opened maybe once a week) the spring broke inside the lock. So I got this as a replacement. I was very lucky to read some other reviews here on Revain (thank you!) which reminded me to remove the lower screw and insert an ice pick or the lock assembly falls down inside the door. The hardest part was getting that lock assembly out, but it only took about 5 or 10 minutes of jiggling and once it was out the new parts went in easily. The door now locks and unlocks positively and I'm happy. A bit expensive for what it is, but it seems to fit well and works and I'm happy.

Pros

Just as good or better than the Pella brand door handles that were supposed to come with patio door.

Cons

The lock mechanism may be noisy and disruptive when operated
