Review on Enhance Your Hamster's Habitat with Ferplast Hamster Cage: A Comprehensive Review by Andrea Bogenschutz

Cute cozy house for a burly Syrian hamster

This cage is very cute and big enough for our pouf to have room to move around. It was nice that the set included everything you needed to get started - a running wheel, food bowl, hamster house and bottle of water. The assembly instructions suck - they give you detailed instructions on how to snap the side clips in place (which is easy anyway) and nothing on how to install the tubes that run in and out of the cage - doesn't make any sense! I found out though and I'm very happy with this cage. The tubes are big enough for our Syrian hamster. I like the ability to separate groceries, treats, etc. on the green top tier away from the messy litter. The cage is easy to clean - just open the latch and remove the top from the bottom. As mentioned, moving/deleting the green layer can be tricky, but isn't a deal breaker. Pro Tip: I use Tidy Cats Breeze Pads under the bedding - they fit perfectly on the bottom of the cage, absorb urine, prevent odors and make cleaning the cage easier as they are waterproof on the underside - just drag the mat with you throw away the old bedding and clean the lower cells! Overall very happy with this cage - it's cute and well built.
