Review on 🚗 Pacesetter 754106 Direct-Fit Manifold with Catalytic Converter: Efficient Performance Boost for Your Vehicle by Dylan Goins

What was advertised had good clean welds and was clean. What arrived has crappy welds that look like repairs. The welds where the header pipe meets the head mounting plate have weld dimples. I think I'll know if it's leaking through the mounting plate after I install it. I paid extra money on top of the price advertised by others because of the image used on the page I ordered. I am very disappointed with the quality of workmanship and quality control or lack thereof by the seller. And what are those extra tabs welded to the underside of the cat? The ones you have in the photo don't. Was it installed in a vehicle and exploded? There is carbon deposits on the inside of the pipe below the cat. I suspect it might have been welds, but it looks like exhaust. There are also grooves in the steel mounting plate above and below the number 4 cylinder bore in the mounting bracket. I'm going to use Permatex which should fix this but it still comes up with a quality control issue. Must be processed. Before installing I will check with a ruler. This seller really annoys me. :-(One of the nuts for the heat shield bolts has a sheared bolt. My truck runs like crap. I'm taking it to the mechanic today. I suspect the catalytic converter in this manifold has failed. was a horrible experience and it is my Thanksgiving plans ruin. Edit: Forward to Jan 2019 when the welds broke and the cat separated from the exhaust manifold. Warranty? I hope so. I'll update this review if/when they come out with a replacement.
