Great light for construction vehicles
My company uses Whelen Century light bars exclusively. We rent all of our vehicles so we cannot drill permanently mounted vehicles. The magnetic mounts are strong and won't come loose on the Autobahn (use at your own risk as MFG forbids it). I've ordered about 15 of these lights for our cars over the past five years and we've had no problems. cosmetically, the metal casing covering the magnets will rust if you leave the light on the car roof for a while each day. I almost always turn off the lights when I leave work and mine is two years old and still looks brand new.
