POSITIVE Well done, met all expectations and compatibility wasn't an issue as my Mac Pro 5.1 (3.33) can be finicky with most USB3 and especially PCIe Express cards . This product uses a 16x line. NEGATIVES While the system information definitely shows up as USB 3.1, the ASM1351 reports a maximum speed of 5 GB/s, which conforms to the 3.0 standard. I'm glad to have a working 3.0 standard that is compatible, but was hoping that higher speeds would be available with a '3.1' rated card. I'm using a 3.1 rated Powered Dock that spins the hard drive at 7500 RPM.
