My favorite so far.: Children's books

My first love. And honestly, if you were to ask what my favorite book is if I didn't stop to censor myself and pick a different, more "age-appropriate" selection, that would still be my answer. If you're looking for a philosophy fit for a young man's mind, that's great. If you don't mind reading a "children's book" when you're not a kid, it's still great philosophy, mythology, puns, and creative genesis. Of course, as a society, we must first learn the rules of what things mean. But once the rules are learned, you need to know when to break them. Not everything has to have a hard meaning. Once the superficial meaning is discovered, don't stop looking, you can keep digging for deeper meaning and learn more about the world and about yourself. It's like semiotics for beginners, early lessons in meaning making. Sometimes the clock ticks. Sometimes they howl. And it's fun too!
