These glasses are fantastic. The material and shape of the lenses (the bulges on the inside of the lens) make them sparkle like a fine crystal, but with a touch of colour. Looking at them, it is difficult or impossible to understand that they are not made of glass until you pick them up. The 13 ounce size is excellent as it can act as a large lowball but is also large enough for soft drinks. The base is wide, which makes the glass very stable, and the size fits the hand well. I particularly appreciate these glasses because they are sturdy enough to be used as an everyday glass but look stylish enough to be used for guests. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet because I hand wash them. So I don't know if the "sparkling" shine goes away after washing the dishes. A similar 18-20 ounce glass would be a good new product for large summer drinks.
