I like red velvet on dresses and casual shoes. In order for such a material to work, the shoe must be able to walk the fine line between bright and classic. That's because velvet dresses and shoes often have a bad image compared to low-art fashion. I like velvet material when it's red or green - purple in blazers but not in shoes - and makes it presentable for workwear. Therefore, they should be solid red or burgundy with intricate buckle or lace detailing. I'm happy to report that I've found a neat design with this interesting shoe from the Xqwfh brand that would honestly be a hit. a full boot instead of that half sandal. I wasn't very impressed with the hybrid sandal design. As mentioned, I like the front of the shoe, but I don't understand the designers' approach here. As soon as I put the shoes on I knew I needed a full size with this brand. I have a lot of shoes and rarely a 12 or 12.5 doesn't fit my foot. Unfortunately, this size does not match this shoe in the test report. They fit well enough to be worn jokingly without socks as a sandal around town, which is how I would have to wear them. I originally planned on wearing this to work as I do with quality moccasins moving into formal territory. My heel sticks out too far from the back of the shoe for longer or roomier dress pants to cover it up. . I could live with this discrepancy if it didn't look ridiculous when I walked in it. It would also be better if your foot had a few more inches of coverage. In conclusion I have mixed opinions on this although this is very subjective as I feel other people still like this shoe the way it is. If I had ordered a 13 or 13.5 I would have liked it so much that I raised my rating from a three to a four. I really like the buckle/strap on the front of the shoe where the laces again confirm my previous comment. out of love for the look and design of the front end. There is also a small cushion on the sole for comfort when you wear them for a long time. In closing, I'll admit that these are creative, if not entirely experimental, and neat, although I can't recommend them as I feel the overall design is a little off.
