Old school meets Star Wars

I see that other people take the time to write thoughtful reviews and I probably won't do that, so I'll try here. I will tell myself. I've been involved in construction since 1969, mainly designing apartment buildings. We rarely need lasers as we all do our old school layouts. I bought this laser for personal use while building my own house and I am planning to build a gazebo in my backyard. I'm telling you this because, despite my building experience, I'm not a laser expert. I bought it because (1) I thought I could see green lines at least 16-20 feet, but even on a dark, overcast day I couldn't see further than 3 feet, even with the glasses that came with it. Inside it was like a light show, magic. So I'm going to use this laser with the receiver on the outside to get my level lines, but don't see how to use it for alignment. (2) Because I already have tons of 20V DeWalt tools. ADVANTAGES I see • This lW089LG laser is very solidly constructed. • The green laser is much easier to see inside than the red ones we use on site. • The DeWalt 20 volt battery is the main reason I got it as I hate changing batteries on anything. • It has a tilt and pan function which I used inside after installing it which was great as I didn't have to move the tripod to get it vertical to a certain point. • My favorite is the 360degree projection while installing in the center of the room and get vertical and straight lines from floor to ceiling with MagicCONS. • I don't understand how this lW089LG can make small adjustments up and down. • He's bigger than I thought, but he's fine. • I don't understand the laser line on the stove in daylight or cloudy weather. It pays off for me if walking chair mold, stairs, cupboards, fixtures and paneling, e.g.
