The pens are good for colouring, very smooth. They're a bit fat if you're thinking of writing with them. The colors are nice but they don't really match how the lid shows how it should look and there are many of the same colors ie about 4/5 shades of brown. They are good, the color difference is my only downside. Absolutely brilliant. They are so colorful and work perfectly. These are beautiful colors that my granddaughter loves. It took her a while to remember to shake but they are excellent
