I bought these to replace the little round rubber buttons we've used on our dog collar for years and they are so much better! You are very bright! And since the front and back are bolted together, they won't tarnish from a bad connection. Get ready because the screws are tiny! It's very difficult to separate the front and back after you remove the screws, so we used a credit card to pry them open. It looks like you'll break it if you take it apart, but it's not! They have short battery life so instead of using the extra batteries that came with the box we bought longer life batteries and they already lasted twice as long as the ones that came with the box. Aligning the batteries was agonizing because the symbols were mixed up and very difficult to read, but after a few mix-ups we got it right. He wasn't very stable on his collar with the clip on the lanyard, so we took the small spare key ring we had, threaded it through the teeth of the clip and attached it to the ring on his collar. I love this light! It's much lighter than the one we used and doesn't fade after a month. worth your money!
