This pump is impressive. I've had a problem finding pumps that have low buoyancy and that don't weaken and eventually stop after a short period of time. This pump sits at the bottom of this outdoor fountain, and even when it's half open, it's pumping too much into the top bowl too quickly. If agate or pine needles are sucked into the inlet, the flow will drop. I reach in and pull it out, and if I'm not careful, water from the pump splashes in my face. During this heat wave this week the water evaporated and the pump never burned out. I filled the well, it swayed violently. So impressed. And very very quiet.
