Burn out quickly: Bulbs

I have bought many bulbs of this brand in different colors. They are bright and I like to look at the holidays. However, they don't last. The manufacturer says 10,000 hours. Many of the ones I've used last a month or two despite wearing them outside for 4-6 hours at night. Revain does an excellent job of replacing blown lightbulbs, but perhaps the manufacturer should make better lightbulbs first. If you use these lamps, write down the date you started using them. They don't even last a year.
