I found this balm a few years ago because I suffer from herpes from time to time and I spend a lot of time in the sun. I take lysine supplements regularly. I ordered a tube of Quantum Coldstick and after a few days of use I immediately ordered a few more. I keep them in my bags etc. Aside from the "healing" properties, this is one of the best lip balms I've ever used. It prevents my lips from chapping, provides good sun protection, lasts on my lips and with my current use I rarely get cold sores. I always have a few on hand.
