I have to admit I was scared of this for a while fearing it wouldn't do what I wanted, but when I finally got around to it it worked. You clip the inductive sensor around the table saw's (or other device's) shift cable. Then plug the USB device into a 120V AC outlet. Try it without changing the DIP switch settings first as it will most likely work exactly as you intended. You turn on the saw and this device recognizes it and turns on your vacuum cleaner. Helps keep sawdust out of my lungs.
