We managed to dye 11 pieces of clothing (6 children's shirts and 5 overalls). If you are purchasing multiple adult shirts I would recommend purchasing 2 of these or a separate red set as this set has run out of red color. I'd love to hear from reviewers before me why this kit doesn't have enough red dye for their shirts. I would also recommend putting painters tape with color names on each color bottle as they look pretty much the same once each color's cap is removed. It was very easy to use, you just added water to the paint and there were no specific instructions on how to prep the shirts other than to slightly dampen them. Some dyes require soaking in soda ash, but not this dye set. No matter how hard we shook the paint bottles, there was still some residue on the shirts (like little spots of paint). It was good and washed in the rinse and wash process. Overall I would buy this set again but don't forget to add an extra bottle of red dye to my order!
