Some advise the younger model without a hygrometer, I do not agree with this, although it is lying, it allows you to turn on the device to the required humidity and forget it, though for this you will first have to compare the readings with a third-party device. In my case, this device shows 55-60%, while the room hygrometer is 45-50. Accordingly, I put 55 and do not worry, but what to do with the younger model is not clear. The advantages of the design are that, in principle, it can be refueled from a tap, no filters need to be changed, constantly washed, etc. Before that, there was an ultrasound, where when using tap or purchased water, clouds from salts appeared, which then settled with a white coating on the furniture. Plus, because I’m lazy and didn’t wash it several times a week, I suspect some bacteria began to multiply in it, because. exactly after using it, my temperature rose to 38 degrees for 2 days and this happened 3 times a month after I didn’t use it for a long time, and then turned it on, so I don’t believe in a coincidence. So I am generally satisfied with the new steam engine, only the price disappointed.
