This did NOT fit my 2014 Z4 PERFECTLY, it was a bit tight and had to be refitted. (in this case it is a replacement for part #5112 8038089 which is NOT listed as compatible in the description). But it's still better than an OEM part from BMW - what does that say about BMW parts? After 5 years the OEM part was removed and rendered unusable as the plate was screwed directly into the weak plastic. This new replacement has strong metal screw bushings AND COST ONLY 20% of what they charge for a BMW part! BMW has a proven talent for taking the simplest of parts and redesigning them into hopeless complications and malfunctions. This is a simple design that they should have used at the factory.
