Review on Compact Mini Bike Pump & Glueless Puncture Repair Kit - Presta & Schrader Compatible - 120 PSI Tire Pump for Road & MTB - No Valve Changing Necessary by Alex Reunion

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Only used a few times. but.

Weight: 5.3 ounces Length (fully extended): 15.7 inches Length (closed): 7.9 inches Good. This pump doesn't work for me. The first time I used it it filled my Race28 700C but I thought it took a little time (5 minutes) with the exertion of my hand. The next time it seemed to require even more effort AND a little less pressure. Then I used it the other day and it was completely useless and left me stranded. Yes, I have only used the pump 3 times. :-( Time to look for a better solution. Rated 120psi? All I can say is enjoy. ****Updated on 6/10/2018 the first three flat tires after which the pump failed. The problem really lay with me and my technique of fixing a flat on the road or putting in a new inner tube which I must have damaged while putting the tire back on the rim with the tire levers. The above issues caused me to post here on amazom despite the high ratings to look for a better solution I found out what other people have done to review the pump so here is my review Aeolus Pro 3 (Roadie) rims use Bontreger R2 700 x 28 tires with Continental Race 28 tubing 700 x 20-25 c This pump takes 100 pumps to reach 42 lbs Pumps to reach 60 lbs Feel your thumb and forefinger pinch Recommended use less than 60 so I'll split the difference if I a go to 60. But I'm telling you... with this pump, the last 15 or so hits to 150 are pretty tough. These bumps made me struggle with aligning the pump head with the hose stem, and I had an air leak when the alignment was over-bolted. I wondered if I was really making progress with those final touches. I believe that's when the user needs to block the center tube and only swipe with short, high-pressure strokes. I've only done this a few times just to experience how hard it is. (150-153) There was resistance, but not bad. I'll leave it to others to test how much pressure can be achieved from now on. But you know, I have a feeling those short strokes will tighten up a bit to get up to 80. Anyway, the pump is reaching my working pressure of 60, so I'm fine. I just wish it had a flex hose screw feed so I don't have to deal with hose and stem alignment issues from pump head leaks. the next few days. Upgraded from 2 to 3 stars and no higher just because I "don't think" that most people can hit the nominal £120 they are rated for.
