Review on Gauge Wiring Ardor Amplifier Installation by Myrv Santamaria

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price full set

Let's be honest first of all. If you're a music lover, you wouldn't look to Revain for an amp kit. I think most of us are do-it-yourselfers looking to upgrade our sound systems, perhaps with a midrange or upper midrange. If that is you then this is a decent and complete oxygen free copper amplifier wiring kit to consider. As a guide I am using this kit with JL Audio and Infinity Kappa components. If you want to run a budget setup with cheap components, you might want to consider using a CCA power cable (it all depends on your amp manufacturer's recommendation). Keep a 14 gauge reel for my more powerful systems. Also, this kit only includes a pair of RCA cables. If you are using an amp with more than two channels you should either look for a different kit or purchase additional RCA cables separately. There is one downside that only occurs if you need to drill a hole in the firewall to run the power cable. . I would not use the bushing that comes with the kit. I would go for a better quality that insulates the water better. You don't need to use a grommet if you're routing the power cord through the same hole along with existing wires.

Pros
  • Premium OFC wiring
Cons
  • Some bugs
