Review on Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710: Reliable 2.4 GHz Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo with Unify Receiver by Doyun Park ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not an outstanding product.

I was leaning towards a score between 2 and 3. The worst thing about the keyboard is the material from which the keys are made and the frame on which they are held. Over time - after half a year or a year - the plastic begins to noticeably wear off at the points of their contacts, and as a result, when pressed, the key can (which often happens) rest against the chute in which it moves and not be pressed. Over time, this happens more and more, and therefore it becomes impossible to comfortably use the keyboard. It feels like the keyboard was made for housewives, who type up to 1000 characters a day, and the keyboard barely wears out. For programmers and gamers, it is not suitable, or ceases to be suitable over time. SetPoint software spoils the functionality of multimedia keys - player playback control does not work in Widows 8 and higher. Therefore, either you need to lose these functions, or not install the software and lose the horizontal scrolling functions and anything else that it allows you to do. I believe that for the money and from such a reputable company, you can expect a much better product.

Pros
  • Excellent keyboard ergonomics + wrist rest Possibility to raise the top of the keyboard by 2 levels Ultra-comfortable and thoughtful multimedia keys Separate calculator start button super long life batteries Excellent keyboard display Very comfortable wheel with inertial scroll function
Cons
  • The quality of the plastic is terrible - the keys eventually start to rest when pressed (tested on 5 sets). More details in the comments. The rubber parts of the keyboard angle feet are not properly glued Crooked, poorly maintained software
