its not exactly 1 year - more like 9 months and i still love this mattress. SO handy. To answer some of the questions I had and saw when I first wanted to buy this mattress: 1) I take the time to unroll it every few months because I sleep on one side on the edge all the time. It doesn't get too soft or dent in that area, but I don't want it to wear out unevenly. 2) No, the mattress does not get hot/warmed up like some do. I tend to sleep with lots of blankets in the winter and summer, and while I can get warm, the bed doesn't keep the heat uncomfortable. I have a protective cover on my mattress and this may help some. 3) It's not too hard for me to spin/turn. It's a big and thick mattress, but I can easily turn it over by myself. 4) I think this is a medium firm mattress. It's not super firm, but neither is it one of those mattresses that sag under any weight. I have a 6ft 200lb man who helped assemble the bed and when they sat on it and checked its firmness it held up very well. 9 months later it's still just as strong and comfortable. 5) I still like the fact that I can put my computer and a cup of coffee on the kneeling table on one side of this bed and I don't mind sitting on the other. Side. Basically you don't bounce much when moving across the bed. I was cash bound due to moving when I received this and was concerned if I was making a good purchase. It was a great purchase. This mattress is better than the one I paid twice as much for. 1. UPDATE. That's what I was thinking when I saw an ad for another (really expensive) bed. One of the things mentioned about this other bed was something I noticed (and LOVE) about my green tea mattress. I should explain what I mean: I usually sit and do everything in my bed - watch TV, work on the computer, etc. I even sometimes (well, *most*) eat in bed. I just found that I can sit or lie on the bed in one spot without disturbing anyone on the bed. The tray I use as a bedside table is just a flat board. I also use it to sit at my computer. I always get up to do something and come back. Guess what? Everything on the bed stays perfectly still. This is a HUGE benefit. When I saw an ad for a different mattress, I went in search of similar ones. The prices were ridiculous. I think this might be the best home product purchase ever. JE! Apparently I made the purchase at exactly the right time and got this queen for just under $200. I will tell you without blinking that I would have paid more if I had known how much I would love this mattress. I actually have a Zinus mattress *and* bed frame. I'll spread the word about both of them. I will update the information but had to come and let people know how impressed I am with this first day. The packaging is great. I could unpack myself. I didn't expect the mattress to stretch so quickly. It's only been an hour and this thing is already 14 inches! I'm following the progress with a photo and I think it's getting thicker. I cheat and post it for review. Cozy. If he stays at this comfort level for at least a year. I'm gonna be happy. Normally I can't lie on my back without pain. I did it on this mattress and it follows all my contours but holds tight. I'm very happy at this stage. A word of warning, if you don't like the mattress I have no idea how to return it. . The packaging sleeve is designed to be torn off. If you then remove the plastic to expand the mattress. Good luck getting it back in that box one day. I also accidentally opened the end of the box where I saw instructions and an informational envelope. Just know it's there somewhere. I do not recommend doing anything to the mattress opening until you read this.
