This caliper isn't worth the $100 Mitutoyo but for the price it's exceptionally well made and seems accurate enough for its price. Pros: All parts are metal, including the body that houses the LCD. accurate enough. US coin sizes are within specifications of both calipers and US Mint specifications. The caliper gives imperial measurements in fractions of an inch, not decimals (although you can choose decimals if you prefer). If you use imperial units, this is a must. I don't want to convert .1875", I just want the calipers to read 3/16". These do. The instructions are clear but translated in an understandable way. Not that you really need them. Supplied with spare batteries and a screwdriver for the battery compartment. I think most calipers come with them, but hey, that's good. Cons: Like most calipers coming out of China today, there is no traceability, so I wouldn't buy these if you need measurement traceability. No guarantee for correctness. There is no indication anywhere of the exact factory or manufacturer. No tote bag (come on! Even the $5 Port Freight Special comes with a tote bag). Additional information: The stated accuracy is +/- 0.02 mm for measurements below 100 mm, +/- 0.03 mm for measurements from 100 to 200 mm and +/- 0.04 mm for measurements above 200 mm.
