Some reviewers who have received white ottomans seem unhappy that the color is too light; However, I have two blue ones and both don't have this problem. Both are finished in navy blue to match the product image and don't contrast uncomfortably with furniture like white ones might. best value for money but this is my favorite no matter the price. The skin has a pleasant texture with the right smoothness and shine; there is ample storage space, as one would expect from the size of the product; The handles come in handy for flipping the lid and quickly sliding the ottoman closer to the sofa. A quick comparison with some other leather stools: the ones offered by Crate & Barrel cost twice as much as these and certainly look good. Their stools are much heavier and made of thicker, stronger leather with less sheen, which can actually look more luxurious. They don't have handles, however, and since the lids are very heavy and fit snugly over the ottoman, they're extremely inconvenient when you want to access things stored inside or flip the lid for daily use as a coffee table base. The sleepers sold at Target seem to have the same weight and leather look as these comfy ottomans from Concept. However, the colors are less saturated and the skin feels terribly sticky. As such, I have found these comfy ottomans to be the most comfortable ottomans for everyday use in the living room and would have no hesitation in recommending them. [EDIT: I don't know if these ottomans are real leather or if they're just leather-like material; I don't care, so I'll just say leather for convenience. Clarify if this is misleading!]
