This active adapter was bought to connect a PC graphics adapter (GTX 980 ti) to my Vizio M Quantum 70 series TV port In my last port (different brand) the display worked but no sound . In this one the sound works even though stereo is the only option but the display only works at 4K 30hz not 60hz. I can select 60 but when I try to apply it the setting goes back to 30hz and that 4k 30hz limited rgb color trying to set it full even to 4-2-0 goes back to limited rgb. the hdmi cable i use supports 4-2-0 limited to 4k60 or 4-4-4 full to 4k30 so i keep looking for something that actually gives me 4k60 with at least 4-2-0 limited color and 8- channel sound provides.
