it is rigid and does not bend like the cheaper U-bolts
Tried U-bolts with no success. this stop is manipulated. So when I'm struggling to return the cage bottle sitting behind me during a 5 hour (Iron Man) ride, it's stiff and doesn't flex like the cheaper U-shaped ones. Success! (and I love the fact that I can adjust the angle to my liking, far enough away from me that my foot doesn't get caught with a large bottle in it when getting on or off the bike - embarrassing!
