Overall I am happy with this item. However, I was attempting to replace a real Motorcraft 2100 carburetor. A few notable differences. This has a vacuum(?) port at the top (shown in the Revain photos) which the 2100 does not have. It also has a vacuum booster(?) for the choke on the outside at the rear. while the 2100 has an internal vacuum pump that does the same. The profiles are also slightly different, requiring modifications to the air cleaner riser. The big problem is that Motorcraft uses a 1/8 NPT filter. A little smaller is used here, although the thread pitch is correct (27 dpi). In the first photo, the filter is screwed into the Motorcraft carburetor by hand, in the second - the same filter hand-tightened in this carburetor. I can fix the vacuum issues, but I messed up a carburetor (my mistake, I tried to flush mount the filter like the old one does) and won't do the same thing for a second. I'm not sure how to figure out which filter to get as when searching for model Wix 33046 (and equivalent) I get what doesn't fit. Also, the gasket was much thicker than the original gasket, so I had to buy longer bolts. Bottom line - don't assume your old fittings/filter will fit this carburetor.
