What can I say. I bought this because my mom has a corgi puppy and we had a corgi for the last 8 years before that. She just loves this dog so I thought it would make a great Mother's Day gift. Just arrived and although it looks very cute and funny it can hardly be considered a doormat. It is as thick as a mouse pad and feels the same. I find it hard to believe that people will step on it thousands of times when they enter the house, but I think only time will tell. I'd say just use it for shoes, but then you won't see it, so I'm not sure. I guess I'll let her decide and see what happens. The price is pretty steep for how thin it is. Was hoping for something bigger :)
