Review on Sabrent 512GB Rocket Nano External Aluminum SSD (Blue) (SB-512-NANO-BLU) by Jason Cartwright

I just ordered this for a bargain price of less than $100/TB. (Thanks to slickdeals.net) The disc comes in a nice aluminum metal case. Use it as the main disk of a Windows 10 virtual machine on Mac. Preliminary tests seem fine. Windows boots and runs just as fast as other SSDs. However, I'm getting mixed results with BlackMagic and AmorphousDiskMark (CrystalDisk clone for Mac). File copying reaches the advertised speed (nearly 1000MB). The hard drive is pre-formatted in ExFat. On Mac, you need to use Terminal, DiskUtils and dd to reformat it to APFS to get the speed benefits of SSD on Mac. I've been running a Win10 VM all day and the drive just gets warm. So far I'm liking this disc, but I'll come back and update this review if I run into a problem.
