Wow, the range is AMAZING!

I swear I've tried them all - this is by far the best! We have 6500 sqm. ft., spread over 4 floors in a concrete building that was very difficult to maintain a decent wi-fi signal. We have a Comcast/Xfinity wired internet connection and have tried EVERYTHING for a decent signal! We first tried a Nighthawk x6 tri-band WiFi router and extender and it didn't work in half the building. We then tried just using a router and a couple of extenders (all extenders on the market). We even tried Google and Xfinity modules. None of them worked well. The Xfinity capsules were a joke! This one finally came out and I bought this as an upgrade for another Netgear 1900. We were all blown away by the range this one gave us! Not only is there not a single dead zone throughout the property (again, 6,500 sq ft of concrete over 4 floors), we can literally get a decent signal 1/4 mile down the street and pick up neighbors' Wi-Fi signals. also (although they are blocked.) I just can't believe the difference in technology! Plus, it literally took less than 2 minutes to set up. It has an easy pairing button that you can use with your router to help you pair them in 3 seconds. In addition, new indicators on the front of the device show if the extender is in the optimal position for the best connection or if it needs to be moved. Also, you can either expand the network (using the same network name) or create a completely NEW network by renaming the expanded area a new zone. Honestly, this is the best device on the market! You can't go wrong with this.

Pros
  • Network products
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
