pot and pan brush is a brush for pots and pans. Right? Yes and no, some clean better, some clean too hard and some just don't last long. It seems like a good compromise in terms of rigidity, making it a good fit for our cast iron pans. After reading some not-so-great reviews of the Lodge pan brush, I looked for something else that might work instead. This brush is the right hardness for cast iron (not too hard/scratchy in my opinion, but not too soft either). Adding the side of the scraper seems almost perfect for our cast iron, which is really great. It seems spot on in size - the whole block is about 9 inches long and the head is just under 2 inches in diameter. The rubberized handle also makes it comfortable to hold. In the end, there's nothing special about him, but he's just right for the job. Highly recommended.
