Review on Vintage Green Vornado VFAN Mini Classic: Personal Air Circulator Fan by Brandee Diaz

Nice to look at and listen to

I needed a fan that I could use at night while I slept. I had big fans of retro Home Depot and everything in between. I bought this fan because I liked its looks and small size. The first impression of the fan is how beautiful and well made it is. It may seem strange, but I like the mid-century nuclear age design and it has spikes. It's all metal and clearly well made; not cheap at all. Green is my favorite color so it just goes with it. I also appreciated how small it is. My main purpose for a fan in my bedroom is white noise before and during sleep. I've tried white noise devices, phone apps, and everything else, but nothing puts me to sleep like the white noise from a regular fan. Obviously this means finding a fan with a reasonable decibel level and not having a fan that sounds like a Boeing 747 landing on a bed. This VFan has two speed settings controlled by an easy-to-use toggle switch on the top. The lower speed is the perfect noise level to put me to sleep and I will never have another fan again. The fan is small (5" grill and 7" overall diameter) so it doesn't cool your entire room. I have it on my desk about 4ft from where I sleep and I can still feel the air moving but it won't cool me down. If I stand right next to him, he releases a lot of air. If it were on your desk or next to your bed, you would feel the air. However, if you want to cool down because you don't have air conditioning, this won't work. I bought the small size specifically for the noise level, low circulation and the fact that it looks perfect on a table without overwhelming the room. I thought the fan was worth the price as it will likely last a long time. Time I love the aesthetics and the noise level is perfect to send me to a sleepy country.
