I eat the whole Time in my new chair and don't want food stains on it. Now, I'm not saying I'm a sloppy eater (LOL), but there are some foods that are just plain dirty (like a big burger or spegettie). It can take 5 minutes max to put on and it looks good too. . If you get up/stand up a lot then expect to have to straighten the seat a bit but that's not a problem. The fabric is nice and durable, and the water resistance is a nice plus. Drinks spill too! My husband has Parkinson's disease so a chair cover is a must. Neither of us have to worry about spills, which is really good for them. The only thing that bothers me a bit (which most chair covers have) is the part that covers the armrests of this chair cover and hides its power controls. lazy boy He should put his hand under the cover and feel for the chair controls. I like that the part that covers the armrests is as long as the armrest of the chair. And no matter how clean you find your hands, without some sort of hand protection, they're the first place dirt shows up. Therefore, I can definitely recommend this chair cover. I just wish there were a few more colors to choose from. Happy shopping!
