Review on 🔧 Metabo 625658000 Backing Pad FS 200: Enhanced Performance and Durability for Exceptional Sanding Results by Bill Russett

For those of you who have a Ryobi RS290 random orbit sander and need to replace the backing pad, this Metaboo sanding pad will do the trick. The best price I could find for a Ryobi soleplate for my grinder was around $20. For $10 more I could buy the same grinder brand new. I took a chance buying this site for about $12. The holes match perfectly. The holes for the heads of the mounting screws are a bit narrow, but they can be inserted with little effort and without modification. If I were to use my grinder more often it would probably be wise to ditch the old one and buy something new, but this Metabo Pad has breathed new life into my Ryobi grinder. Also, I had a supply of Velcro pads for this item and didn't want to waste them. I received my pad today and wanted to give this review. Strangely, it's temporarily unavailable on Revain. If they return it, that's good news for Ryobi owners.
